PB of 540pp - no index but detailed 5pp table of contents and extensive references at the end of each chapter. Numerous inset photos, maps and figures including a facsimile of the title page of Geologia Norvegica, written in 1657 by MP Escholt, in which the word geology is used in the modern sense in a description of an earthquake in southern Norway. Book and maps in very good condition.
