Maps covering all of Europe or showing several countries come under the heading of Europe in the side column. These are often atlas maps, wall maps, or map series jointly covering all of Europe.
Within a country after the continental and sub-continental maps, the geological maps of Europe are organised in regional groups by country. Within a country, if we hold a large enough stock, the maps may be divided in Non-Survey and Survey maps. Non-survey geological maps include those published in atlases and journals, and maps published prior to the establishment of the national surveys. Survey maps are those produced and published by the national Geological Surveys or Institutes.
Horizontal sections or profiles and vertical sections or columns or borehole logs are listed under Sections, where they have been published separately from maps.
