Durchschnitte von Frankreich/Cross-sections of France. c.1828. 62cm x 49cm (24.5"x19.5") Hand coloured lithographs on flat cartridge paper. With minor marginal tears and very slight foxing. Shows four sections: 1. 'idealised' section of the Landes from the Pyrenees to the Vendee; 2. 'idealised' section from Normandy through Paris, the Vosges Mountains to Strassbourg and the Black Forest; 3. A pair of correlated sections without location, with the right hand section showing much more observed detail.  In good to very good condition.
