The Stanford's maps listed below are available as originals unless otherwise stated. All of the maps are available as approximately same size reproductions in colour. The originals have a centre-fold usually with marginal tears at the folds which have been repaired with archival tape. The maps have almost no margin which makes them difficult to mount and frame unless they are pasted down. The reproductions are high resolution laser copies. The North Cumberland map is copied laid on matching cream-coloured paper. This gives wide margins which make mounting easier. The Channel Islands reproductions do not have the cream background and are more difficult to mount. Some place names on the original bleed off the page edges.
