Richardson

A Handbook of the Geology of Cheltenham and Neighbourhood, 1904. The corners, top and base of spine are bumped but the binding is sound. The end papers and page edges are age toned and there is very occasional foxing to some printed pages. The photo plates are on glossy paper that is clean and bright. The map, often missing, has been cut and mounted on linen and folded between light, brown card covers. The margins have been trimmed and the legend is pasted on the reverse. It fits the original pocket at the back but protrudes. The map otherwise is clean with minimal wear. It is colour printed but has the appearance in many places of being water coloured.
