[Geological] Map of the Faeroe Islands, in ‘On the Geology of the Faeroe Islands’, extract from the Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, v.30, pp 217 to 269 + 4 plates. Faroe Islands colour printed fold-out map (42 x 27.5cm) at 1:380,160 (1”=6miles) on base map of 1806 and 3 plates of b&w sections. The map is age-toned and has a torn hole in a sea area which does not affect the geological mapping. The text is age-toned and bumped with a library stamp on the cover. Although an extract it is marked with ‘the author’s compliments’. In fair to good condition.
